Anyone Else Drive Their Vette To Work Today?
Come on it's Friday. It was sunny. The roads were dry.
It was so good that after I drove to the Ballard plant I came up with an excuse to drive down to the Kent plant & back

I drove mine. Mostly to get food for the cat and... something else which fails me now.
Oh, yes, now I remember. I was going to stop by the liquor store and buy some good single malt scotch to take over to Poodle Girl.
Damn... I need to start taking more ginko baloba or whatever it's called.
Felt pretty good.

I was off work so I just did a cleaning on mine. Need to get started on my winter mods. Parts all over the garage in boxes and haven't really touched anything. Still waiting on a couple items.

I did. It was dirty as all heck from being driven Tuesday through Thursday, but I got a chance to let it run a bit on the way home. I can't wait for the summer. . .

Not the Vette but I did take the SS out. I was able to test the newly modified clutch hydraulics I worked on earlier during the week. No more sticky pedal hello smooth shifting.

Wednesday and Thursday I bought new trim boards for one corner of our house, trimmed them to the proper size, and primed and painted them. I also bought a new electrical meter box and weatherhead for the mast. I contacted an electrician and had them install the meter box, mast and weatherhead on Thursday morning. I put one trim board on the corner of the house and mounted the plate that holds the power lines to the house. Puget Sound energy came out at 11 PM on Thursday and hooked up new power lines to replace the ones that a truck pulled off of our house, along with the mast, and ripped the meter box loose from the house on Wednesday morning at 12:30 AM. Two more days without electricity was nice.
On Friday I finished painting the other 3 trim boards, put them on the house, and caulked along them. I also removed a bunch of broken branches from our Magnolia tree.
So the answer is no, I did not take the Corvette out on Friday.

According to the long range weather forecasts, which are admittedly just slightly better than a flip of the coin, we're supposed to get a week of dry, sunny weather starting about Thursday. That must mean it's time to get everyone's Vette out for a GTG on February 4th or 5th!

No but it was tempting. There is still a lot of crud on the road around here coupled with the cold and the de-icer they spread on the roads around here thought I'd wait until the weekend. Spent the day cleaning the garage floor to make a place to work on the motorcycle Saturday, will be working on it for much of the week doing the usual winter maintenance on it.
