New custom work on my 2002 Z06
Yesterday and today.
He has State Farm. My car will be going to Corvettes of Auburn on Monday unless you can recommend a better place.

Hope your doing ok and Anita is also if she was with you. Much easier to fix a car than a person. Maybe this is an opportunity to upgrades?
Bad week for Corvettes. The picture below is from my brother. He took out both drivers side tires and wheels this past weekend. This is the worst of the two wheels. Damaged beyond repair but as a result he is now getting a new set of Comp Grey rims and Invo tires off the forum for a great deal.

Nobody was hurt.
I stopped at the red light on a busy street (Meridian on South Hill). I was going to get some parts to fix my 89 year old mothers light. When the light turned green I barely started moving when I saw a lady enter the crosswalk. I stopped and the person in a big Nissan pickup did not. I think his passenger front tire was what hit my car as his steering was messed up and his truck was not driveable.
He has State Farm insurance so everything should work out. I am having it fixed at Corvettes of Auburn as they have a good reputation and I have seen some of their paint work. It will go there Monday. A new bumper, rear fender, trunk lid and a few other bits and it should be OK. And some money for diminished value. My car is a 32000 mile never hit before virgin.

Ouch! I hope you're okay Keith! After saving that Z on I405, you should have stored up enough good Corvette karma to have dodged this one.
Hope the repairs go smoothly and quickly.

Sorry to hear about your brothers car Joe.
Keith, what a great attitude. Not sure I would have the same calm demeanor (even knowing one should)

[QUOTE=NofakeJake;1579677991]It's all good. He was cool, calm an collected when I spoke with him on the phone and tomorrow he gets the new rims and tires installed. Just over a week from mishap to styling. The tires even though badly damaged (one was gouged nearly through on the sidewall) held air pressure and he was able to limp home on back roads.

Ouch
I had someone crunch my '03 MY Z06 rear quarter and I was *completely* happy with the work by Corvettes of Auburn. I had a lot of folks say the Millenium Yellow just couldn't be matched...but they said they could easily, and did - perfectly.

I'm glad...especially after all the work you did on his car.

Thank you all for your kind words. I just heard from Corvettes of Auburn that the repairs should be just a bit over $ 13K. I should have my car back in 5 or 6 weeks.
