Default Weather Rant & RPI Side Skirts

A couple of days after I bought my GS (back in November) I also bought a set of RPI color matched ZR1 style side splitters. I have been patiently waiting for a dry and warmer day to take on the install... this will have to be a driveway/carport project for me as my single car garage is just too cramped to get the car on stands and positioned to work safely and comfortably... I am getting tired of the cold damp wx... Bring on Springtime!!! Someone order me up a weekend with no rain and 60+ degree temps so I can get bizzy!!!

Yeah, right . I have my 02 sitting in the cold garage waiting to install a new head unit from Double D Mods and I'm getting tired of buying propane for my heater.

Outside of Monday, it looks like another week of rain showers and temps in the low-mid 50's. Maybe next weekend. I keep watching KIRO for the forecasts. Well, not so much the forecast.

Just gotta remember where we live......

I am so sick of this continuous wet weather! And now our "weather-guesser" is telling us we are 7" under our normal rainfall for March. WTH?? Neither of our two cars have been out of the garage in 4 months, our lawns will require a swather and a herd of goats, moss is growing faster than the flowers and I haven't seen the sun since September! I want sunshine, warm temperatures and dry pavement.

Don, we had a 60+ degree day last week and I got after my car with my buffers and Griott's. Unfortunately, I ran out of energy and only got the hood, roof and trunk done, but not the sides or butt. That'll have to be another day I guess. As it was, I went over the areas I did 3 or 4 times. maybe you need to ditch work on those mid week 60 degree days....I mean what's more important, work or the GS? Seems pretty obvious to me.

I feel the same way. I have an entire stereo package ready to go in the Vette. Head unit, speakers, amp, backup camera, full insulation and deadening.

Can't even start on it until I know we have a weekend with dry weather.

So I'll just keep driving my 22 year old S10 Blazer.

Default Heck with it!

Taking next week off... Monday the GS goes to Auto-FX to have the glass tinted. I am having them paint the bumpy area on the hatch glass instead of film or vinyl...Then I am gonna buck up and install the side skirts/splitters (rain or shine) Tuesday is my 57th birthday... all I am asking for is a little sunshine

I would just take some heat, the rain I can live with. I have to swap my bushings this weekend as I have an appointment for an alignment on Monday. I can stay dry but the cold concrete gets old after awhile.

AutoFX in South Tacoma on Adams St did the windows... had them paint over the dots on the hatch glass. Looks awesome!
