Default Albany Veteran's Day parade (pics and comments)

Hi All!

Yesterday Sweetwater Lou and I had the pleasure of driving our Corvette in the Albany Veteran's Day Parade.

We, and the rest of our Club (Beaver State Corvette Club) were invited by the Cascade Corvette Club outta Eugene to join them in the parade!

Together, we fired up 15 SWEET 'Vettes!

What an uplifting experience!

Smiles all around!

Wow....THANKS for the invite to participate in such a great event, CCC!

I wish we could have been there, but (1) I don't get Veteran's Day off and (2) DUK VET is in the paint shop getting some Caravan road rash cured.

Many thanks to everyone who is serving and has served in our armed forces.

Bill, Our two clubs need to do more things together!

I was going to go, but then I saw that we had to be there 2 1/2 hours before the event. It was too much of a shock to my system, so I skipped. Sounded like something that was planned by the Navy. lol. I wasn't ready for this kind of wait. Is this normal? Maybe next year I will be psychologically ready.

Hi Jim!

Agreed on the collaboration statement!

No sympathy for the Caravan "Road Rash"

Wish we could'a gone with ya!
