Default Mud Guards

I just picked up a set of Mud Guards for my '09. (good deal over on this thread)

I did not realize that you need to take the rear tires off to install, so I called Lee Johnson and they wanted $200.00 to install. (I don't have a floor jack at home).

I can probably borrow one, how difficult is it to make this install?
Anyone want to help who has done it before?

i have multiple jacks, stands, and ramps. you're welcome to come over to my place to install them (provided you have instructions on doing it). never done them myself, but i do all my own maintenance and mods (most of them).

Very kind offer. Don't worry about it for today though, lets just hang out and relax! Bring your Vette. :-)

It's easy and they look great. I have gotten a surprising amount of positive comments considering how small a mod that they are. If I were to do it over, though, I would go and get some more 3m double sided tape and use more than comes with the splash guards, I have a couple places where they do not stay stuck down well.

Jeff,
If these are the Gen Corvette Acc type then yes I did mine. I live across the road from you in Trossachs and have both a jack and jack stands. Just won't be able ot help till the 22nd at the earliest. Recommend you wait til the weather warms up as it is recommended in the instructions to be at a certain temp range. They are easy enought to do. Sorry I could not make it today, still want to see that garage.

That would be cool. Maybe Thanks Giving week?

I'm putting a heater in my garage so we probably are ok even if it doesn't warm up for awhile.

Jeff,

Garrett and I were talking and we thought that maybe you guys would like to do a cruise in through our neighborhood lighting display. We have 22 houses completely lit with lights over the street and music playing. We accept donations for the local foodbank. You guys could cruise through and maybe hang out around the campfire. It would be great if you got as many Vettes as possible to participate. We are located in Mountlake Terrace - at 228th and 42nd Pl. We start up Friday after Thanksgiving and go until New Years Eve. There are several neighbors always out manning the donation station each evening. Give Garrett or I a call if you are interested or want to discuss. Garrett 425-220-7130 or Ron 206-915-4648.

Thanks.

Sounds like a plan. I would like to join that cruise. Let me know when.

Jeff,
What time Friday. I need to leave my house by 11am to put the CMCS newsletter together in renton but should be back by 2:30 or so. If you need my jack, omega type with long arm it is available. You can pick it up early or latter in the afternoon I could deliver it if needed.
