Personal invite to you guys

This is not really corvette related, but I know quite a few of you here and I wanted to invite the community as a whole.

On December 5th I will be having the official book release / signing party at the Edgewater Hotel in down town Seattle. It will be between 3pm and 6pm with discounted drinks at the bar and special dinner plates on the menu.

The history of the Edgewater is vast and revolves mainly around the super bands of the 60's, 70's and 80's. Everyone from the Beatles to Led Zeppelin has stayed there and always has some sort of goofball picture immortalizing their stay. Whether its fishing from their windows or throwing furniture out into the bay to float on while diving from their penthouse rooms.

So this is an invite to everyone on the forum if you're in the area around that time, stop by and have a drink.

Would love to do this Travis but I'll be working that day. Maybe Laurie will go and take Sara in place of me.

How cool. I recently read Pat O'Day's book, "It Was Only Rock and Roll II" which included a few stories about the Edgewater and the rock groups they booked into that hotel. It's also where my wife and I spent our wedding night over 40 years ago.

I may need this book just for the memories.
