Folks heading down to Salem from the north, we can meet at the Aurora rest stop (just south of the Charbonneau Exit 282A on I-5) at around 8:15 and leave by 8:30. This will give us more than enough time to get to Patrick's meeting spot by 9 AM.
Let me know if you'd like to do this so we're not waiting there for no reason

Well it's looking good for me so far....getting up early will be an issue as I'm a night owl...in work and play!
The co-pilot I invited will already be in Eastern Oregon by then so there is a possibility I'll break away at Sisters and go visit her. Depends upon a couple of things.
Also, looks like there is a blue/bluegrass festival thang going on in Sisters over the next few days. Could be interesting.

For those coming from the north, let's meet at 8 am instead of 8:15 at the rest area. That way, traffic or other hangups won't make us late to meet up with Patrick's group in Salem.

Yup....just got done prepping the car and topping off the tank...sounds like fun....working swing shift, this will be interesting getting up so damn early!
I have to go to work at 8:00 PM after I get home, so we are in the same boat here!
It's all for a good cause: CORVETTES and CRUISIN!!!

Great drive, and it was nice to meet some I had not met yet. Also Chuck, I know you won't answer because it would involve typing. It was nice to see you again after all these years. I hope it is not another 35 or so.
