Do you want the GM Borlas or the actual Borla systems, which by the way are not called stingers any more. They have either an agressive system or a mild system, and they also come either with or without a X pipe. None of the systems are currently in stock at my local warehouses. They will all have to be special ordered.

Im looking for Borla stingers AKA GM "performance Off_road"
either one would work as they are same thing other than marking on tips.(according to this board) as for X pipe i dont know what effect it has ..if any..

Their X pipe would be a waste of $$$ if you plan on getting headers some day. The reason is because most headers come with a X pipe that would be a bit more efficient than the Borla X pipe. Mainly its a cost issue, if you get their kit with a X pipe its maybe $300 more than the kit without the extra piping.

Are the LG Long tubes compatible with the Borla Xpipe? I am in the same boat...looking to upgrade the exhaust on my Z06 but trying to avoid paying for something i may replace a couple months down the road. I was considering the Magnaflow but the idea of just two single outlet tips turns me off.

If you want loud but quiet in your cars cabin, I would suggest the Corsa system rather than the Borla. While the Borla has a deep throaty sound, its going to resonate inside the cabin. I have found that most of them in the first few hundred miles are relatively quiet in the cabin, they will burn in and that is when the internal cabin resonance begins. I have just installed a Corsa in my personal Z, its heavily cammed and is quite loud even at idle, but I love the cammed idle noise that it makes, yet at freeway speeds it is barely audiable over the tire noise. But when you want to hear the exhaust downshift to 4th and hammer it, and I can gurantee you will get all the noise you want
