Default It broke

Well my so called level 5 tranny that I put in last spring bit the dust today. Seems that my 4 speed auto is a 2 speed now. I only have 1st and 2nd gear.
At least it did it now, and not in the middle of summer. And I was only about a mile from home. Doing 55 mph at 4000rpm really eats the gas.

I feel for you Bro! That sucks big time.

Fortunately, you know how to fix it!

I thought it was a glitch. I took it for a short drive to scan it with HP Tuner, and it worked. Went home to get my cell phone to go for a longer drive, and it quit working. Maybe it's the cell phone messing it up.

Hopefully it won't cost too much to rebuild it because it's probably just the valve body or something. I don't think nothing is broke. I needed to drop the tranny anyway to trim some of the DTE tranny brace because it's against the exhaust. And relocate the LC-1 module for the Wide Band.
And I think I will put in new couplers for the Torque Tube shaft while I have it apart.
So, this gives me an excuse and some motivation to drop it out. Since I already done it once, it should be a piece of cake this time.
