Anyone have the windows in their coupe tinted by VTR in Everett? If so did the rear window turn out allright? Several none C5 coupe owners have recommended VTR to me but I have not seen any of there work done on C5 or C6 rear windows.
VTR tinted a 98 Mustang and a 2000 SS Monte Carlo for me ans I was very happy with what they done. When I bought my C6 it was already tinted, I would have had them do it if it was'nt already done.

How much are they asking for the tint? I'm thinking about getting mine done. Where in Everett are they located?
+1 for VTR. Wayne and Brian are great guys and they take their job seriously. I've heard plenty of good things about their work and they have treated me well too.
That rocks, is there an ideal temperature to get it done? I remember back in Louisiana, they'd say it was best to do on a hot day and to leave the windows up. Should I wait till it's warmer?
I want you all to know what Wayne at VTR in Everett Wa. did to me. He is a very dishonest merchant. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!
I bought a car stereo/dvd player from Wayne at VTR in Everett. He told me at first that it was brand new. That he recently moved to a new shop and during the move happened to see this stereo in a box. He put it in a display case and I ended up asking about it. I put it on layaway and about two months later paid the ballance off. He said that it would be another week to install it so I told him I was gonna have another local audio dealer install it. He said fine and I picked it up.
When I brought it to the other dealer to have it installed, the installer immediately told me that a ribbon that was sticking out of it might be a problem. He tested it and installed it. The CD player and radio worked just fine but the DVD player did not. I found out that the Wire Harness was not the original, but came from another manufacturer. I asked VTR about it and could not get a straight answer. During the course of about 2 weeks I got what became a second and a third story about the history of that stereo. First it was brand new. Then It was a display model that they lost the original wire harness to so they replaced it with a new one. Then the stereo was installed in another guys car but he did not want it so they took it back.
I confronted the owner Wayne about it, but he kept saying that he knew that the wire harness did not go with that stereo but since he was under the impression at first that he was going to install it, he was gonna take care of it without telling me that the stereo did not have all its original parts.
I told him I wanted my money back and at first he refused. Then he said he was going to charge me a 25% restocking fee. I told him I would see him in court, and he told me he would LIE AND SAY THAT HE DID NOT KNOW THAT HE GAVE ME THE WRONG WIRE HARNESS.
Wayne, the owner of VTR, missrepresented this product to me and then tried to blame me for the damage per the ribbon sticking out of the top of it.
Bottom line is that he made me believe he was selling me something NEW. NOT USED and certainly NOT DAMAGED. He did not tell me that he lost any parts to the stereo, or that he put another used part in its place. If he told me the truth about the situation from the beginning, I either never would have purchased the stereo from him, or I would have tried to at least negotiate a lower price for it. I paid the same price for it that I would have paid brand new on the internet. He also told me and my wife who was present that he would lie in court.
Also, when he took the stereo out, he left my dash looking like someone broke into my car. Screws and parts of my dash were all over my front seat.
