Hey all. I've been on the forum for about 1 year now. I don't post much (mostly lurk ).

Yesterday I traded my 07 VY 1LT for an 06 VR 2LZ Z06. Wow, what a difference. It was a deal I couldn't pass up. The Z has ~870 miles and still smells new. I picked it up at Barrier, where it was sitting on the showroom in a sea of Mercedes'. I think they were happy to get the 'Chevy' off the floor

Anyhow, I live in Auburn and work in Issaquah. Don't forget to wave. I look forward to meeting some on you on future drives.

Do you plan on using it for a daily driver? I just picked up a 02 Z06 with 3k miles on it and I've been using it for a daily driver. Though, I only go from Burien to Fremont. It sure makes commuting that much more enjoyable though

My '01 Z06 is a daily driver, and I call it therapy. Back country roads for 45-60 minutes makes for a nice way to get energized on the way to work and decompress on the way home.

If you work in Issaquah then you must be aware of the XXX Drive-In which is a favorite meeting spot of a lot of these members.

Welcome.

I make the opposite commute, (Redmond to Puyallup) and I've seen several northbound Vettes, I am usually in my DD a Camery so dont bother to wave. sounds like you made a great find. I hope see you at the XXX someday.

Congratulations! I'm jealous .

Do you work over in Samm-C/D/E? I do the drive from Redmond to Issaquah every day. But tomorrow we close on our house in Issaquah - so I'll be down to a 5 min drive to work. I'm going to have to figure out some drive time each day.

I'll keep an eye out for a new VR Z in the area!

Yes, I'm over on the Samm campus. Congrats on the house. I'd love to move out this way.
