Corvette & High Performance Meet - Your Input

I think the show will always continue on to some success since they are lucky enough to be the 1st swap meet of the year. I've been going for years, but I haven't bought much there except a couple bags of rags. I usually have cabin fever by the time the show rolls around and I can't help but go.

So who cares if the C5/C6 market is excluded. Every other show caters to them specifically.
Besides you guys can get all of your chrome engine sticky stuff from the catalogs.

Interesting dialogue. I thought I might go this year, but it sounds as though it may not be worth it. How much is admission anyway?
I probably wouldn't mind the swap meet stuff so long as it's confined to a specific area and didn't include things like pens that write underwater, Samurai Shark knife sharpeners, and beanie babies. It's a Corvette meet after all.
The show idea sounds great to me and I guess I'm a little suprised they didn't already have this. Didn't know about the auction either. Sounds like a great way to spend hours and hours and miss everything else.
I agree that Griot's should be there. Has anyone even asked Rich? Does Tom Armstrong bring out some of his rolling stock for display? Might be interesting for the local Corvette specalty service shops and body shops to be there and exhibt some of their projects and workmanship.
The club booths sound pretty good too.
Sounds like the organizers could use some fresh blood on their planning committee.

It will be at the Puyallup fairgrounds. Park in the Blue lot on Meridian and you can buy tickets at the Blue gate.

I went last year for the first time. There was a lot of "Junk", as I was anticipating more vendors. However, I was able to order roof holders/covers for my tops from Sports Lingerie. Additionally I will be formally going through football withdrawal... It’s a great way to spend an afternoon.

I am going to say this one last time you guys ITS A HIGH PERFORMANCE SWAP MEET.
There are stuff that you guys are going to think is JUNK there. no matter what. because its not for your cars.

Maybe some big time vendors would show up if guys in the NW would spend some bucks on their cars. Most guys just have sunny weather putter mobiles and want to show off their high polish job and talk about the beautification mods. Then again, most of the guys would soil their depends if they had any more hp.

I suppose this is a forum so we can all share our opinions.
Don't forget what C4Cruiser originally requested:
In short--Input from the later model guys (C5 and C6) to incorporate features they would like.
The Meet already caters to the older generation crowd. It sounds to me like they're making an effort to go after the newer cars as well. Good opportunity for us to provide some recommendations.

Let them learn, then shove it back in their face when they bitch and moan about nothing for C5 - C6.

Abc 123: Emmett ID Pretty much says it all…
If I’m going to drive from Shoreline to Puyallup to support this event, and I will, I expect a little more than Kooter’s Junk Emporium… Yes, I get it’s a swap meet…
