Default Great Chevrolet Dealer Experience.

I've recently had a terrific Chevy dealer experience, which is part of a really good relationship I've had with Chaplin's in North Bend.

Just before my car got crashed into the mirrors had stopped working. It started with the driver's side not remembering it's memory settings. Then it just flat stopped working altogether. I booked a visit to Chaplin's to have them look at it and wouldn't you know? That day the passenger side stopped working too. the care has very few miles on it but it was 2 months out of warranty. Bob, the service writer took one look at the car and the miles and said "we'll cover it." Nice. He called the GM zone rep and got his buy in on it too. Even nicer.

They replaced the computers in the car, didn't fix it. With that they ordered a pair of mirrors from GM and had them sent out to be painted.

And then my car got wrecked and the car was gone for a couple of months. No problem, Bob told me, they'll be here when you get the car back.

Once if finally got my car back it went to Chaplin's and the replaced my mirrors. Work perfect. Color matches and the shoppe that painted them hadn't even seen the car that I know of.

While he was at it they went over the car with a fine toothed comb. This was without my prompting them, mind you.

"Your body shoppe forgot a lot of the screws and bolts on the front end. We went ahead and replaced everything we found missing for you."

NO CHARGE.

This is also with giving me a loaner free of charge each time they had my car.

Yesterday I got a call "Hi it's Bob at Chaplin's. That little piece of trim inside your door behind the handle is here. I'll mail it to you so you don't have to miss any work, it just snaps into place. "

For Real!

They've had the car 2 days, replaced a computer and 2 mirrors, including painting, provided loaners, replaced assorted screws and bolts that the body shoppe missed and all I've paid for so far is the two oil changes I also had them do.

This is what ALL Chevrolet dealers should be like.

thats the way it should be, i had a great experence with kendall chevorlet here in eugene... long story short... i had $1500.00 worth of work done to my car 1 1/2 years ago, and last year night before a big show, my starter crapped out... so the short of it is, i had to have it towed to the dealership, but they did jump on it when it came off the tow truck, and got my car back to me within the hour
