The BC club also did a great job on the autocross at the Pemberton airport

If you haven't had a chance to get up to theis event, get it on your calendar for next year!! It's a fun trip up to Whistler (a great Corvette road but just watch out for the RCMP ), the show is a People'
s Choice ( somehow I got a 1st Place in class with my 02 EB C5 coupe amongst all of the fantastic C5's present and squeaked out a 3rd place in class at the autocross. 500+ Horsepower wasn't enough

I will jump in here with some more photos of "Thunder in the Mountains" in Whistler, BC.










Notice the detail in the flames. This C5 coupe won Best of Show and it is well-deserved. Detail throughout was incredible.


What does 640 hp look like? This.

Autocross

Still can't believe I took a 1st Place in the 97-04 Coupe class with all of the beautiful cars that were there. My car is the Electron Blue coupe with teh C5CRUZR license plate.

I managed a 3rd Place in class at the autocross behind a friend's race-prepped 93 with 1st Place going to the pewter '00 Lingenfelter-powered coupe.
