Default Time you finally met some forum members?

Hi Gang,

First, I want to tell you all how much I've enjoyed this forum since I joined at its inception in 1999. I've made some great friends around the globe and had the chance to meet many of you face to face.

Now I'd like to pass the same opportunity along to all of you by inviting any and all forum members to drop by my new bar/restaurant/nightclub in Palm Springs, California. We are Palm Springs' first "car friendly bar" and plan to hold monthly car events. We have a HUGE parking lot and a nice outdoor patio so we can organize this type of event quite easily.

I've been working on this venture for almost a year and it's finally come to fruition. It's been a lot of hard work, but it's pretty exciting now that it's finally open.

We would like to set up our first Corvette cruise-in for this September and hope to see as many forum members as possible. (It's just too hot here in August!) As quickly as possible, we'd like to establish a large yearly event, maybe in late spring, for all the Corvette Forum members to meet here in sunny Southern California. Of course we'll have trophies for many catagories, eats, cocktails, plenty of ice cold beer and maybe get the Budweiser girls to show up too for some photo ops with you and your Vette!

The name of the place is Keybar California and we're located right on the strip, at 535 South Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs. That's about an hour east of Los Angeles and a little over an hour northeast of San Diego right on the edge of the Mojave Desert so you never have to worry about a show-n-shine getting rained out.

So, drop in anytime. Come alone, bring the wife (or husband), bring the kids or your Aunt Fritzie, just make sure you don't forget your Vette!

And remember: Always mention that you're a Corvette Forum member, the first one's on me!

Best,
Greg
