As nice as it is I do miss my car. Even though I don't drive it every day I did look at it every day.

I might have to see if I can rent one for a day.

There is a little strip mall that has a exotic car rental. They have a Victory Red C6 convertible. I think they want $350 a day for rental.

They are near Kaanapali West off of the main road running from Lahaina.

I can't believe its been two months since I went.

NICE pic! I and my wife are heading to Oahu Sept 10 to see my mom, and wish her Happy 87th Birthday. She still lives in one of the houses I grew up in. Looking forward to seeing her, first time in a year, but not relishing the thought of all the congestion and the high humidity. And she does not have AC in her house, most island homes don't. Jon

Default Little Surfer Girl

My youngest, Julia, after one 15 minute surfing lesson. I think she's a natural. She got up on every wave.

I should fly over and crash your party. Where you staying?

Played my third round of golf in four days today. I was paired up with a guy from Houston the first day so we sheduled two more rounds and finished each one off with a nice glass of scotch. So far we played both the Kaanapali courses and The Plantation course.

Flew to the big island for day and took the helicopter ride over the volcano. Absolutely amazing to see molten lava flowing down the Mt. I post some pics later.

These are not the greatest pictures because I was shooting through the glass and just seeing this stuff in person made it hard to even think about taking pictures.

We flew directly over Pu'u O'o Vent.

Flowing Lava destroying anything in its path.

I could feel the heat of the lava through the window of the helicopter.

My wife taking a picture of the sunset from the big island

Another sunset from the big island

Wow! Those are some awesome pics. Thanks for sharing. I bet that lava would look really at night with a full moon in the back ground.
