27-28 July, Thursday thru Sunday: "Goodguys Hot Rod & Custom Car Nationals: at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center, Puyallup, WA. (Over 2,000 customs, classics, muscle cars and trick trucks thru '72. Lots of vendors with cool stuff, and chevy engines everywhere.) Don't know the ticket price, but you could check at www.good-guys.com if interested.
28 July, Saturday: "Cruz'n the Gig" car show at the Tacoma Narrows Airport, Gig Harbor, WA. (Open to all makes, models, years of any vehicle. Usually has a bunch of nice Vettes, might even add mine this year though it's a bone stock C-5.) It's free, usually has a great band, and it's a clean environment.
28 July, Saturday: "19th Annual Western Washington All British Field Meet" on the grounds of Bellevue Community College, Bellevue, WA. Yes, it's not reomotely Vette-related, but you'd be impressed with how British car enthusiasts put together a class event! There's a judged concours, vendor area, cars for sale lot, refreshments, and tree-covered parking lots devoted to various marques from AC to Triumph. And it's free.

Cruiz'n the Gig Car Show at the Tacoma Narrows Airport (Saturday, 28 July) has added some new classes this year -- including "BEST COPRVETTE." Registration starts at 9am, show lasts until 3. All entries get dash plaques, cost to enter is $15, prizes for all class winners. All proceeds go to scholarships for students furthering their education by studying auto mechanics. (The Cruisers Car Club gave away three $750 scholarships last year.) Enter your Vette and have a fun day with fellow enthusiasts!
