Default Best engine machine shop in the PNW

I'm thinking of upgrading my pistons and rods this winter. Before I start ordering parts, I want to be sure that there is any reputable machine shops between Salem and Seattle area? I want someone that really knows what they are doing, and knows how to make prefectly round cylinders with the proper finish on the cylinder walls for the rings of my choice. Otherwise, I will just order a short block.

You should contact Tom Wong at Wong's performance.

Otherwise I have used these guys in Oregon City several times.

Thanks, looks like a nice machine shop that has some good equipment. I'll see who Tom uses also.

For me it is BRITCO Racing Engines all the way. www.britcoengines.com

They also built the car that was on pinks (the malbu against the Canadian Camaro)

I had my engine built there even though right now it still sits on the engine stand, They delt with me & handle me like I knew what i was talking about unlike some guys who treat me like a woman that dont know much about cars. It was great dealing with them.
They also did my brother in laws engines.

I don't know how much they deal with corvettes. They are great builders and machinists but I don't know how much PCM work they do. I've used them several times for old school engine building. I would go to Tom for dyno for sure.

I sent Tom a PM or two about getting me in for a base run before I pull my heads, but he hasn't replied. I was just looking for a second choice in case he is too busy. I wish I had my own Dyno, except I would probably wear my motor out on it always trying to get the extra one Horsepower out of it.
