North West TOY RUN 2006

Time: 12 noon
Place: 272nd park n ride. exit 147 off I-5
Bring: unopened toy
TOYS FOR TOTS
YEP. THATS RIGHT! SATURDAY DEC.9th 12 NOON AT 272ND PARK N RIDE. EXIT 147. GONNA DRIVE DOWN TO OLYMPIA IZZY'S. DROP OFF TOYS AND EAT LIKE KINGS.
This is going to be a BIG ONE. I want to see everybody there. I mean everybody. This is for the CHILDREN that are less fortunate. I don't care what you bring, a hot wheel or a stuffed animal. Just an unopened toy. This will show the community that all the cars are not street racing all the time. This will be an open forum event. I will post on other forums. YOU NEED TO BE AT THIS ONE!
LETS MAKE SOME KIDS HAVE A GREAT CHRISTMAS!
Will have the web page up soon. still last years on it. www.nwtoyrun.org
I HOPE TO SE EVERYBODY , I MEAN EVERYBODY who has ever looked at this page to attend. as you can tell last years was AWSOME. and this years will be better!!!!!!!!! the web page is still in the works and some pics don't show unless you are a member of that club. i will be fixing it soon. will be adding the forums i post on also. this will be on a saturday and even in the after noon so NO EXCUSES! HA HA HA!!!!

No problem at all. I am on the fence whether I can make this run. The holidays are always hectic around my house this time of year. Wait, it's always hectic around my house ! Just a bit more so come November/December :o

I'm confused. It sounds like you are starting at 272nd street, and ending in Olympia at Izzy's . Is that where you are dropping off the toys , at Izzy's in Oly?thanks in advance!

absolutely awesome, the amount of people that showed up.. 95% rice.. but the few high performance cars there made up for them..
feel sorry for the guy in the EVO MR that was taken to jail though..

Good time and tons of cars. Like you said, 95% rice, but still a good time. Sorry I didn't wait for the Vettes to roll, but it was getting to be time to move and my stomach wanted food ! lol I fell out and trailed the Mini's to Olympia. I am sort of glad I did, I understand a few of the cars got into some trouble along the way ... too bad really...
Anyways, it was nice to meet the Vette owners and all from the forum. I will be back at it next year !

yeah.. the EVO MR that was pulled over, blew by me doing atleast 20 mph faster and I was doing close to 80.. he had a state trooper right on his butt with lights flashing and siren wailing.. he ran upon the traffic ahead of me, and was slowed down by them, and pulled over right in front of me.. (damn cop nearly clipped me following him over)..

He didn't know the cop was following him. He was rying o catch up to his friend. The cops gave hima areckless and impounded his car... Poor guy... Shouldn't have been sppeding though. And As we counted it was about 50/50 rice and hamburger. A few Vettes, Vipers, About 10 Camero's and like 35 Neon SRT-4's. Great event and thanks to all who came check out the pix. http://www.nwtoyrun.com/index.php?op...pose&Itemid=35 Hope fully we get a next year. THe cops were pissed cause they got a report of a Evo and 3 Accords racing that's why they pulled that guy over. They were saying that they are going to make sure the event doesn't happen again next year. Funny hough cause we had an autorized perade route and we were supposed to have police escorte, but they canceled on us last night. I was the loud guy...
