Default Any club driving events on the Nurburg Germany in August or September ?

Should be in Germany late august-early september

Would like to drive the Nurburg in a prepped car with slicks. anyone going? want a passenger?

Would be great to get into a group rate session. Any race clubs or group rate driving schools I could sign up with?

They're a few Corvette race minded members in our New Paddock Corvette club Belgium. The problem is that we have a few meetings and activities late August and early September. Like the 24h of Zolder, etc.

A few members of our NPCC club have started a Corvette driving experience team. They're now preparing a Corvette C5 Z06 as a track race car.

At every Wednesday of the month, you can race at the circuit of Zolder, Belgium. These days are track days for the race-lovers.

It is possible that the New Paddock Corvette Club Belgium is organising an track day at Zolder in the future. No dates or details are set yet.

I don't have any details or dates of the other race tracks around Europe. But there are track events, maybe you can find the information on the websites of the race tracks.

Slicks could be a problem because only plated street-legal cars are allowed on public days. If that's not a deal-breaker, you can just get a car from rent-racecar, go on a public day and pay for the laps as you go.

If you want to drive a sanctioned event or closed session, I would give Ron at RSR a call, he'll steer you in the right direction.

If you want to experience something great. Look up Sabine Schmitz Nurburgring. She is a Ring Taxi Driver. You can rent her or one of her collgeau's and she'll get you around the Nordschlife in under 10 minutes in a BMW M5! And she is pushing!

This is a clip from the Uk program TopGear hosted by Jeremy Clarkson. Who gets paid for his big mouth and destroying impossibly expansive cars. I do not know why they do not pay me for a job like this.

The rest of this movie will explain itself. I'm in Love...

Anyway, it will set you back 185 euro's. But WOW that is a hell of a ride...

Get in touch with Cecil. Tell him Ed from the HPFactory sent ya.
They're one of the biggest Corvette clubs in Germany. A bunch of really nice folks.
They run Nurenburg (SP?) Hockenhiem (SP?) etc.
I was over there for Hockenheim last year. Hallowed ground. Gave me goose bumps just being there.

Once my vette arrives in Italy (2 or 3 months from now) I'll be heading up there to the Nurburg with my buddy and his BMW 335i.

We went this month to the track at Zolder, Belgium. Every first wednesday of the month, is it Eran racing day. First you've have to earn your Eran racing license and than you can drive around the track.

Here are some pictures of the Z06 on the track, there was another C3 also doing some laps.

More pictures are online at my site: http://www.carsthestars.be/events/er...event_2008.htm
