We are inviting interested members to reply to our idea of promoting the BEST ! ever international Vette-in. gathering with accomodation and entertainment. If we receive sufficient response, we will make it happen.!

How about some more info? Every Vette owner would probably love to do it, but much depends on location/timing/planning.
First we must guage the interest. We would ideally like
every Vetter in Europe to come. The difference being is
this will be produced by Vetters, for Vetters, not some
big, $$$$$$$ organized commercial machine like has been
the case in the past. We want to put on a show that
would make Hollywood smile.! We realize we have big boots
to fill, but we are Europeans and know we can do anything
the Yanks can do better.! They created a great and beautiful
work of art, but having lived in America most of our lives,
we saw that $$$$$$$ is the only motivation, not sincere
appreciation of the Vettes and their owners. There events
are controlled by B I G.! business groups. We are a small
family who have owned Vettes since the seventies and our motivation is to organize an event that no-one
will forget and it will be 100% European done.! We hope
you'll spread the word and help us generate interest.!

Like I've said, everyone would want to come, but to actually get them there is a different story. + agreeing on a location is another, Europe is quite big and gas prices are high.
Hell, the SCCI (Swiss Corvette Club International) organises a Euro Meet every year. Know how many Brits were there? 2, one Vette, one Viper. Main problem being a big show going on in the UK. But trying not to coincide with other events (in a nice weather season) will prove another challenge. I'd love to have a big Corvette meet, but some things on my calendar may have priority.
I'd love to help out, but it's hard spreading the word when you can't really say what's going on. How about making up some flyers or sending emails to all European clubs to gauge interest first and get some feedback? You'll need to get a group of key people together all over Europe to kind of get an idea what people would not only want to come to, but will try to come to.

Amazingly we already have over 75 US and 375 European Vetters wanting to come. We will close applications by February 2008, if we are definately going ahead with this. It will be by invitation only. We will have many BIG SURPRISES at this event and we hope you'll understand that we don't want to share our success secrets with competitors. Our comics, tv ads, radio,tv and live appearances have grossed over $ 3 million since 74.

Prehaps you could help us make this a big success.? We have narrowed location down to NL Germany or France. Ther are options on three venues which we are negotiating now.Maybe you'd like to be one of trophy judges and officials, let us know. Our target is minimum 500 but ideally 1000 plus and we can do this.!The entertainment and giveaways at thsi function alone will be unsurpassable.!

I understand you don't want to give away secrets, but you've gotta have something to lure people in. I can't go around saying there is going to be a HUGE Corvette event in the near future without giving some info.
+ I'm kind of lost as to who or what exactly your small family is.
On location I would definately say go with Germany. There are lots of Dutch and French Vetters, but having driven in all of these countries, I'd say Germany is the most fun and has the most straight forward routes(not to mention the Autobahn and great race tracks).
France is nice, but speed limits and gendarme aren't very pro-Corvette.
And I just plain hate driving in the Netherlands. Great country and all, but too many roundabouts and complicated driving.
Of course this is just my opinion.

Please include me in the invites but with as little info as you've provided on this forum, those "75 US and 375 European Vetters" must have been told a lot more. I'm intrigued but skeptical based on your answers to Babe's questions. It sounds like time to put something on the table. We do have other events to go to throughout the year, so if you want us to put this one in our schedules, we really do need more info - not sales pitch. What is it that you are selling?
