Uk Corvette Club Nationals

Last weekend saw The Classic Corvette Club UK Nationals held at Huntingdon in England. The weather was typically English (it rained) but many of the 700 club members turned out.

I was very impressed with their cars at Le Mans, especially Rich's car...but even more impressive were the people..who had to brave some tough weather to drive from England to France, then back in time to their own event.. I joined their club and have made several friends over the past three years that I have attended Le Mans...I look forward to attending their events in 2008 once we get back from Iraq.

It was an honour to meet you at Le Mans, Marc.

It was tough to get to both events as we stayed in France for a few days and had only had one day to wash the car (it was raining of course) and our club race shirts before the UK Nationals. At least both events weren't on the same weeknd - now that would have been a tough choice.
