The Corvette Euro Meet will be held on 23-24 June 2007 at Hockenheim Ring, Hockenheim, Germany. The event is organized by the "Swiss Corvette Club International" (www.scci.ch) or info (info@scci.ch, Tel. +41-79 333 5970).

This year the even is not just for Corvettes and Vipers, but is open to all U.S. Cars types, e.g., Mustangs, Hemi's, Firebirds, Camaro's etc, etc.

There will be:
1) Circuit Racing,
2) Slalom Racing,
3) CEM Grand Pirx,
4) Regularity Raceing,
5) Quarter Mile Drag Racing,
6) One Lap Racing,
7) And last, but not least there will be a "Show Corso" or "Show and Shine" event.

So mark your "Calendars" and get ready to have some fun. . . . you don't want to miss this one !

Just got the papers. The Schedule has changed quite a bit from previous years.

Regularity, slalom, sprint and show & shine will be held on Saturday, with the party on the pit roof. Rock of the 70s and the band CALLAWAY.

There will be a race taxi on Sunday and the big class races and show corso have moved to Sunday. This way there won't be an excuse to leave early Sunday afternoon.

Pits can be rented for 1 day only or both days.

So, I guess the drivers on Sunday won't be doing much partying.

Hi Robert,
this would be really cool if you would drive by with your Vette.
You know the Hockenheimring - I think ;-)

If you understand German, this is the link to the schedule for the weekend and some details:

If you need any translation, let me know.

And here the english flyer:

@77Babe:

Hope to see you this year also on the track!

What about your planned paint job? Did you finish it?

Hey Bernd!

Didn't know you were a member here.

Right now I'm dealing with a stuck driver's door and a bad fuel pump. That should be fixed by then and I hope to get out there if nothing else breaks. Maybe you can hand over the microphone long enough to get out there yourself.

Paint job, well, let's just say I've spent more time fixing the car than sanding. The front end is primed, though.

Too bad you'll miss the CEM, but at least you'll get to Le Mans. Maybe this year I'll make it to Camp Corvette.
