Since the ALMS race series looks like the 'vettes will be racing themselves, looking at going to 24 Hours at LeMans. First time, probably want to camp, not taking my car ... need good info on organizers, groups, etc. Would be nice to commune with Forum members if possible. Not a joiner, don't belong to a local club, but if that is the best place to obtain info for this event, attendance at the next local meeting is possible. Appears that a lot of Forum members have experienced the event, sound advice appreciated. Thanks!
Still waiting on the info from Corvette Europe, but you can sign up here.
I'll probably go with them too this year... Will be my first time and I'm also waiting on information. But I look forward to spending the race night in a tent.
We have two week roadtour in head of us. 3000km (1875 miles). We leave from Finland and go to Germany by ship. Drive from Germany to France and first stop at Le Mans. After Le Mans race we head to Nurburging. And Finally go to Hockenheim and Euromeet. Total of 17 Corvettes and two service vehicles leaving. 30 People. Going to be one thrill ride.
Sorry but our website is in Finnish but check it out:
Rollcentre Racing has sold their Radical SR9 (LMP2 car) to Embassy Racing. Embassy doesn't have any entry to Le Mans so they won't be there. Rollcentre will be able to give more effort to their all-new Judd-powered Pescarolo shown in the links below
As a result, PSI Experience will race their Corvette C6.R at Le Mans which they raced last year in French GT, Le Mans Series races, and two races in the FIA GT Championship including the 24 Hours of Spa. They will race in FIA GT this year.
I emailed them to ask about what will be going on (after checking the website and not receiving anything after signing up for info last year), they answered that Corvette is not doing arrangements this year, but I can order tickets from www.corvettelemans.com.
I emailed them back that the site wasn't working and they excused themselves, said the site had been taken down and I should order from www.lemans.org.

Where are you staying and where did you get tickets ?
ready by then? They have had the car for almost a year now!!! ????
yeah exactly..I wasn't too thrilled when I dropped by the shop in March and the 383 hadn't made it to germany yet ..the ship that was sailing it over was delayed...
if all else fails I'll grab a C5 and show up..
