Bye Bye Tesla!
Just for CFOT I took down a Tesla in my old school internal combustion sedan. Caught this guy in a new Model X LR and I just knew he was going to try and roll me as I'm sure he heard me at the last light. I watched him sneak around others to get the front spot at the following light. After the run he wouldn't even look over at me after. Gave him the thumbs up and waved after he went wide left. Sore loser. I wasn't sure at first if it was a Plaid or not. If an X Plaid would have roasted me but I was going for it. He even had the dig / low speed advantage where they usually shine. German V8 powah!

[GSC3] That's a LIE! It's impossible. You take it back right now. Nothing beats a Tesla. NOTHING!!!!!! [/GSC3]

He probably used his charge up towing a trailer across town he/she just dropped off, and was on his way to a quick charger and hot meal for the next 6 hours.

its not the same and everyone knows electrical is faster. Its not a fair race. And I bet you racing did more damage to your car than the electrical. Its not worth it. Electrical cars shouldnt be on the track racing either

Nice kill!! Your RS7 is a BEAST!!
I have C7Z and V2, both over 750 rwhp, both manuals--neither have DRs, and would only run a double motor when rolling, preferably to 100+ MPH,,, those telsas are faster than I thought.
My best chances of running a plaid would be 0.50 or 1.00 mile event.

Safety Car
tesla .com says X:
Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive 670hp 0-60 3.8sec, 11.2s 1/4 Mile, 149mph Top
Tri Motor All-Wheel Drive 1020hp 0-60 2.5sec, 9.9s 1/4 Mile, 149mph Top
What's the specs on the RS7?

Beautiful car. I just sold mine last Saturday (storm trooper with carbon pack and same Quattro script). They are beasts. The new owner told me he beat up a couple German and American suspects on his 8 hour drive back home. He was absolutely shocked at how smooth these cars are, making speed deceptive. I've owned a lot of fast cars, but nothing made me look down at the speedometer more than the RS7. 100mph fells like 70mph in these cars when just cruising along. Next up... RSQ8. Hopefully I'll enjoy that as much as I did the RS7

Long Range is not that quick. Tesla actually limits 0 to 60mph on the long range not to cannibalize Plaid sales. Not a slow vehicle but nowhere close to Plaid territory. RS7 is very quick for a gas car.
It's also possible that Model X was in Chill or Sport mode

Only the MX Plaid with 22" wheels run 9.90 and slower.
