Default OT: Coolest Car I Saw Today.....

OK, I know..... not a Corvette, but there are occasionally threads that are here that are not Corvette specific, and chances are some will show up on here, if this thread survives......

I was driving down the road and the car below caught my eye..... not something you typically see, especially mid day on a Wednesday..... I had to turn around and check it out.... take a couple of photos.....

If you see a cool car, take a photo of it, and share it with the group.....

Here is mine from yesterday.....

Serious car, looks like it would make some noise.

A blown '34 Ford isn't your normal grocery getter.

Sadly I bet there are more with Bowtie power than Ford engines.

That's a nice car. Beautiful paint.

I've had a lot of hot rods over the years but a '34 Ford coupe has always been my favorite. Had this one for many years but had to let it go back in '08 and regretted it ever since.

Now I have this one which is getting a 392 Hemi and will be channeled a couple inches for a similar look to the blue one.

Nice! My father in law was a hot rodder in 1950s LA, and those old Ford roadsters were his car of choice.

He always loved sporty, fast cars. He never drove anything with more than 2 doors.

This car isn’t particularly unique; we did a spring break trip to Austin a few years ago, to see the rodeo. The state legislature was in session at the time, so we walked over to the Capitol grounds.

I thought it was pretty funny to see a state legislator putting the official plates on this Porsche (in one of the official parking zones). No doubt a lot of politicians drive fancy sports cars, but in their spare time, and not parked right in front of the “office.” On the other hand, it’s not a GT3.

Outside the TX Capitol
