They are taking the crowd plow to a whole new level.

The new mustang will have a new electronic drift brake button developed with the help of a professional drifter.

The crowd plows will be epic.

Ford Performance released a Drift Stick you could buy for the RS. It was a lot of fun to play around with when I was at the Adrenaline Academy. I'm guessing this is similar.

The seventh-generation 2024 Mustang unveiled Wednesday in Detroit will be offered with either a V-8 engine or a turbocharged four-cylinder like the outgoing model. And there are no plans for a hybrid or electric powertrain.

It will even be available with a six-speed manual transmission.
ford will retire its mustang by mid to late 2020s. They are capable of a new name and fully electric version sports car. The muscle car names of the 50s 60s 70s will be nomore once electric becomes mainstream.. 50/50 chevy will retire the corvette. Thats my prediction.

It’s a good looking car, but I wish they changed the exterior styling to something really new and different. It looks like a midterm update to the previous design. Still, a cool look but it could have been so much better.

Doesn't look like its exterior dimensions are much of a departure from the current gen & I've never been in one of the current versions. Are they truly 2+2? Can a reasonably-sized human being, call it 5'9 or 5'10, actually sit in the back seats with something resembling comfort for say an hour?

Depends on the height of the driver. A group of 5'9 girls could easily fit in one. Their downside is putting a child in the back, it's very very tough, especially in a rear facing seat.

VERY impressed with fords marketing team. the dark horse package S and R versions will be great for their intended markets and the z06 style grille and SS 1LE hood vent is a nice touch for the GT. It kind of looks like ford built the best camaro chevy never did!

I could see myself getting one.

Neither the C8 nor the Camaro were part of my comment. I said it looks like a pickup dash...then provided a picture for comparison.

I get it, but those are actual competitors. I think it's got an overall standard interior, which is a good thing. It's a normal car. There's gonna be a crapload of them on the road, why would they out in some ineffective interior. That it looks kinda like a truck interior is a good thing, truck interiors have been honed for functionality over the past decades, that just means this interior will be a very livable place.
