The one I priced out came to $109,000. Too rich for me.

That's a good friend of mine's V. I spent about 12 hours doing paint correction prior to ceramic. Car is very high quality, seats are awesome. He had a V2 and V3 prior...

Be careful what options you clicked. Mine spec’ out at $95.
A10, drivers assist package, parking package, optional seats, sunroof and red calipers. Carbon fiber and ceramic brakes can add another $20k

This car doesn't have the Carbon Packages or the Ceramic Brakes...Carbon on constraint car won't get built with those as far as I understand.

That would be my car! I paid msrp at 102600. All options except carbon fiber packages and carbon ceramic brakes. Reason i didn't get those is they were and i believe still are on constraint unless you were one of the 1st 250. I didnt want to wait so didnt order w those items. Ordered july and delivered dec 23. Drag radials arrived today and awesome weather forecast for friday could put me in the 10s. In the videos the car was 100% stock on stock ps4s. 1.73 60ft and 11.24@124. Da was +360 ft. Should be -1300 ft on friday. Also had 3/4 tank of fuel. Race weight was 4465 w me in it. I have outran a c8 from about a 60 roll on the highway. Here is another vid. Go to 3.48 mark

Sick car man! Really jealous. You have one of the last - if not the last - great V8 performance sedans.

I don't know that v8 sedans are going away, but certainly v8 stick shift sedans.

I would not be surprised to see a few automakers realize that their big dollar buyers bought v8s over electrics already, and continue to want to. Hopefully they realize that the electric vehicle market is a segment, not the entirety, before they get themselves so hopelessly over spent on it they can't ever recover.

Cadillac said it would run 11.3@129. no way it will run 129 but obviously it will run better than 11.3 lol. It has 28 more hp than the outgoing Ctsv with about the same weight. And by the mph(124) it will outrun the c8 from a roll...and yes i have tested that against one..he watched me pull away

They said 129mph, but it traps 124? Wow, that's a huge case of false advertising.

The CT5 V Blackwing is the only car, right now, that I would trade my Hellcat in on for daily driver use. However, not at the price tag.

Eh, its all good. My Previous V3 was running 10.50 at 129, so i knew there was no way for 129 unless the HP ratings were severely underrated. Drag radials mounted yesterday, and possilbe -1400 DA tomorrow should net me 10.9x. Had 3/4 tank and now gonna run 1/4 or less plus weather plus tires.

How close is it to the latest gen CTS-V? I imagine close based on the numbers alone but just curious how they stack up.

I sold my 2018 CTSV and got this car. It ran 11.32 @121 All stock on drag radials. So the New one is a couple tenths faster and 3 mph more. About right based on 28 more HP and 4100 LBS.

Comparative ride and handling? Would you rank the new one a better overall car outside of the performance advantage?
