Cadillac CT5 V Blackwing
Order went in today. Dealer thinks with a little luck a February delivery might happen. During the long drive to the dealers my plan was to order the M6. But my shoulder began to act up and reminded me in no uncertain terms the A10 would be a more drivable choice.
A10
Satin steel
High performance seats/ black and black
Red calipers
PDR
Rear mirror camera

Honestly man, the 6m is the way to go.. That's the advantage it has vs a Hellcat. Shoulder be damned, I'd gon6m every time.
Part of me thinks I should order a 6m one.

Just watched a review of this, I'm now convinced that this is the best car on the market, with a 6 speed. It seems like caddy finally achieved what they've been trying to do for 2 decades. So of course bring GM they won't follow it up and will go try to make some other **** people don't want and they're not very good at.
Hopefully they keep these around many years, because it's great and so I can order one outside of covid price gouging.

Still, its a car that costs $90-120K so the market is limited from the start.
Expect a 8-12 month wait from order to delivery under current conditions.

It will be killed of in a couple of years as everyone wants an SUV...

There are plenty of dealers who will order and sell one for MSRP. Cadillac did announce that based on current information production will continue to at least the 2024 model year. Can't see them killing this off if it sells well.

I don't want to pay MSRP either (though admittedly it's a good value in it'd market). I think in a couple years they'll be available at the standard gm discount of 20% off MSRP..
I have to buy my wife.a baby hauling suv beforehand anyways.

Nice car. I priced one out, but at $104,000+, no thanks. To much for me to spend on a car. I just can't bring myself to write the check for it. But it is a damn nice car.

Mine specs out at $98,500. Previously the most expensive vehicle I ever owned cost $30,000 less.
Sometimes you just gotta say **** it. I am 68, wife and I have both retired long ago. Promised myself I wouldn’t try to save anymore money just so our son can inherit it. Our assets will most likely fund his retirement as it is. Besides, I’ll be lucky to get the car within 8 months.

I've almost convinced myself I need one of these..... If GM would have given it a similar AWD/RWD drive train to the M5/E63's, I'd have already ordered one. The M5 Comp is currently my top contender, but the Blackwing (with manual gear box) is pulling at me real hard.

Buy a second one with a manual so you have your choice. It's better than the money being inherited and getting taxed out the *** to pay to knock down forests and put up Chinese made solar panels.

Now that I've looked at it a little closer....The side look kills it. It has the same look as the 04/05/06 GTO in the the front and rear wheel opening look different....The rear openings look smaller than the front. I hate that look. It feeds my OCD as symmetry is my friend.

You will really enjoy this car , but you might regret not getting Carbon Fiber 1&2 options , they really look good . I picked up mine September 11th Blaze Orange , 6spd manual , PDR , Bronze wheels , Carbon 1 & 2 package , Tan and Black interior . I love the sounds it makes on deceleration with the rev. match on , and yes Caddy is throwing in 2 days @ Spring Mountain .
