Modified C8 of the Year 2021 Finalist
Default I am stepping out and I think she knows...

I am about a month away from taking delivery probably. I had my current car submitted to the dealer appraisal system the other day. Received an offer from Caravana and drove to Carmax for an appraisal. On the way and back, I feel like Camaro was being a little more punchy when driving and when I parked her, I thought she made a "hmph" and did a sideye....I think she knows I have been stepping out on her after 15,443 miles.

Oh, she knows, she knows.

I was doing a final detail on a car I was showing in an hour, and after years of no issue I went to open the previously fine hood release and the cable broke. It knew.

I feel ya Blade. I took your exact same journey, going from That to This (see pic) - but I even had the audacity to show my old gal her replacement.
Don't worry - before you even put 100 miles on your very own C8 you won't even remember how to spell Cemora.

Guys -- its just metal, rubber, plastic and sometimes leather. Oh, toss in a few petrochemicals.

Don't hang your futures on a guilt trip for something that isn't alive. Its just business.

If you don't want to get rid of it, don't get rid of it. Otherwise, pass it to the next person to enjoy.

Our sweetheart went away January 20th, with her HTC sister due to arrive in early June! She strutted her stuff through the neighborhood!

I also was torn between making the similar decision. I had a very soft spot for my Hot Wheels Camaro so I decided to sell my C7. You will have no regrets when you receive your new C8.

All airplanes, ships, and cars have a soul. I don’t pretend to understand how, perhaps it is somehow created or imparted by those who have completed a safe journey in her. When she brings you home safely under circumstances which simply shouldn’t have been possible, you just know ... and you thank her.

I was in the same position. But now that the C8 has arrived I don't have the heart to sell the Camaro... so I'm keeping it.

I decided to become a performance car polygamist. The days I'm in the mood for the slim and trim one, I'll drive the Corvette. Those days I'm in the mood for a full-figure ride, I'll take out the Camaro.

Thank you! Yes, a little bit of time and money has been invested in the big girl. When that by-pass valve closes and air is jammed into those cylinders, she’s a mighty fun ride.
