2015 Porsche 991 Turbo S...
Just picked this up and put about 200 miles on it yesterday.
Very nice driver, does everything it is supposed to do, as expected.
Fills one of my lifelong goals to own a Porsche Turbo.
Should be hitting the dragstrip this coming weekend if the weather is good.

I think one car mag did 60 or so full bore launches in a row with one of these cars to test it out without any apparent damage.

These are absurdly awesome cars. I don't know that I'd want one as fast as they are. Seems like overkill.

For a super nice cruise on a Sunday morning, it is tough to beat.
Really handles the road, very nice interior to gaze on during the ride, superb sound system, and then there are the brakes...so responsive and smooth, really gives a feeling of braking superiority over anything I have ever driven.

They're only as fast as we drive them.

Roof coming off is something I will have a hard time getting used to when I get my 911 one day, because I also don't do verts.
I'm a simple guy. 0 to 60 in under 5 seconds is good enough for me. I think I'd like a 997 s with a stick. Better would be with the power kit. Slightly less so, a gts, I don't love the mono lock wheels. Torn between a 997.1 or 997.2, my dad had a 997.2 s with pdk and it was awesome and wicked. But the direct injection is another thing to go wrong to me, for a sum of hp that isn't game changing. I think a few mods on a 997.1 S would be better for me personally. But I do prefer the darker interior tones of the 997.2, and the 991.1 is really growing on me, even if it is a bit bigger and more boringly modern.
