dif question,now that TF cars are running 1000' are they just tuning for that?,,
and has anybody ever tryed to run a TF for 1-5 miles[if they regeared and turned the HP down-to stop detonation] do you think they would go 400-500mph?
honda ran an F1 car at bonneville and with re-gearing it went 245mph/398kph

Not that I have ever heard of.
Since I ran 323 mph in 1/4 mile, a few changes should get 400 mph easy, with a longer run, but I would not think 500 would be doable without a LOT of rework.
But you don't know till you try.
