This is the price I paid for getting my C7. We pick up my wife's new Lexus RX 350 tomorrow. As they say, you wanna play, you gotta pay. She's worth it.... :-)

Better yet I traded my old C5 corvette coupe 2011 with 48k miles in and my wife got a new 2013 Buick La Crosse in October 2013 and I got the C7 Z-51 vette in March 2014 !!!! Everybody wins !!!! Wayne

Luckily (or perhaps not, depends on your point of reference) my wife wouldn't be caught dead in a Lexus SUV or any SUV for that matter. She, like me, likes coupes and sports cars and only tolerates my SUV's or Trucks because we need them to tow our toys.

BTW, any SUV that can't tow at least 5000 lbs is neither Sport or Utility, it's just a tall station wagon.

To all the people with negative comments about Lexus, lighten up. It was just a joke. Opinions are one thing but bashing someone's choice of vehicle isn't very nice. I'm amazed at how many negative comments are posted in this forum. Who the hell cares if my SUV can't tow 5,000 lbs? It's the vehicle my wife liked so we bought it.

I had to get my wife her new car so I could have my c7. I like the Rx. Be glad you didn't get the hybrid version, my mom had one and she took a beating on her trade in because of the expensive batterys. After 60k miles she now has the new Benz GL I think. You know what they say happy wife happy life.

I didn't have to buy her a new car actually. But our son needed a car so we sold him our 08 RX 350. We looked at the Mercedes GL 350. Very nice SUV but it was a 2014 vs a 2015 RX and we got a smoking deal on the RX. Our 08 RX 350 was rock solid for 7 years. Not one single issue with it.

As "penned", it's not clear what "she" refers to, his wife or the C7.
