Default 2002 Tahoe Brake Question

2002 tahoes have vacuum assisted 4 wheel disc brakes that are inherently soft. Chevy converted to hydraboost assist in 2004. I converted my 2002 to hydraboost last week but I did not change my master cylinder. The original master cylinder has a 34mm bore. The hydraboost calls for a master cylinder with a 37mm bore. I know a larger bore gives more fluid movement, but less pressure. Will 3mm larger bore make a difference? I'm looking to increase pedal firmness and decrease travel. So far the truck stops much better with the conversion. I'm looking for just a little more. What do you all think?

Thanks

Swap to the Hyrdroboost Master. I have an '04 Z71 Hydro with 191k miles, the factory doesn't change anything that doesn't need changing.
