The understanding is he signed about 25% of the total production of 4,038. Over ten years, some cars that have his signature have been modded, wrecked, etc. So the true value of a Carroll Shelby signed Ford GT comes with an original low mileage, collector quality Ford GT.
That is one drop dead sexy car and very desirable!
I was at a car show a couple weeks ago and there were like 4 later model GT500's and a couple old Shelby Mustangs - every one had a signature on the passenger side dash.

Over the long haul, it certainly wouldn't hurt to have his signature on any historically relevant, well preserved Ford sports car.
