Default Sold the TT-350Z, waited four months, bought a V

I don't come here often but I lurk sometimes. Anyhow, I sold my Twin Turbo 350Z for a '09 CTS-V A6.

Picked it up on a Monday and Friday it was on the rollers at KP Racing.

Results: 420whp, 441wtq on 93 pump @ 9psi

Loving my new view to work

Not three full weeks into ownership and Airaid CAI & Corsa exhaust installed.

And finally new plate ordered.

Daily driven.

Plans? Basic upgrades; heat exchanger, pulleys, injectors, cam, ported blower snout and throttle body, headers, wheels/tires, lowering springs.

Congrats! I've got a 2013 Black Raven A6 CTS-V coupe. Without a doubt, it's the best all-around car I've ever owned.

Great Choice. I want to put a slightly louder exhaust on mine because the Stock AMG exhaust on my wife's SL63 AMG drowns the stock V exhaust out. Makes it sound like a prius

AMG exhaust is hard to beat! I had a C63 AMG for a rental last week and I'm now hooked. But I wouldn't trade my V for one.

OP have fun, awesome car.. Hurry up and get the mods started

Have an 11 month old. I needed four doors.

Here is my old 350Z. Made 555/560 on a dynojet with 17.5psi on 93 pump. Ran out of intercooler. Goal was going to be 600-650whp with 115 and meth. It was a sleeper.

Well July it's headed to KP Racing for their 650bhp package; 2.55" pulley, 160º Thermostat, SC Isolator Coupling and Tune. They are also installing a set of D3 lowering springs.

Ordered the Katech heat exchanger from KP Racing as well but I want to get my hands dirty and do that install myself. Also will be installing front & rear StopTech slotted rotors with Hawk ceramic pads. Lastly, I put on a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

Next up I'm saving for a set of Forgeline wheels.

Very nice and awesome plate! I'd like to have one of these one day to add some practicality to my life while still being able to move crazy fast. You'll have to post some more pics when you get the mods completed.

Probably wasn't easy parting with the z. Looks like it was a beast.

Thanks! Yeah... The plate gets a lot of attention. From BMW and non-BMW owners. I was leaning toward a 4th Gen Viper but with a 1y/o I needed four doors. I also considered a GT-R but two things stopped me. First I didn't want a coupe with a baby seat and having to lean through the front to get my son in/out. Second cost:power gains. Yes they are crazy fast but it's "cheaper" to mod an LS and make power. (IMO)

As far as the Z... There are time I wish I kept it but the local Z crowd is a bunch of kids and hipsters now. They aren't about making power. They want that hellagay stretched tire and gay camber.
