F/S 92 Toyota Camry SE V6 5 speed
After many years and reliable miles of ownership, I've decided to sell my Ultra Rare Dark Emerald Pearl 92 Camry SE. The SE is equipped with a 3.0L 3VZ-FE engine and a 5 speed manual transmission. The current mileage is a shade over 134K. I am located in Vermilion OH, zip 44089. My asking price is $3500/obo.
The SE package includes the following over the standard Camry, and these items are unique to the SE:
-Special SE wheels
-Blackout mirrors and door handles
-Stiffer suspension bushings
-Quicker steering ratio
-Special SE Sport Seats and Door Panels
-5 speed manual transmission (No other V6 Camry offered the 5spd manual trans)
-Rear Spoiler
This car has been extremely reliable and pure enjoyment to drive. I bought it from an auction with a light front end hit in 2004. At the time the car had 114K miles. At that time, I replaced the following:
-Clutch and Throwout bearing and Machined the Flywheel
-Power Steering Pump
-Belts
-Plugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor, Distributor O-ring
-Rear Valve Cover
-Valve Cover Gaskets
-Upper Plenum Gasket
-Radiator Cap
-Slave Cylinder and Hose
-Washer Fluid Tank
-Fuel Filter
-Installed an aftermarket CD player
In 2011, the car was painted, new emblems were installed at the time of paint, a new windshield was installed, I had the wheels powder coated, and new tires installed.
Since then, I have only had to replace the front and rear brakes, along with routine oil changes and a coolant flush, as well as a new Air Filter.
The SE is fully loaded with power steering, moonroof, a/c, power locks with central locking, top of the line 6 speaker stereo, and SE trim package with 5 speed manual transmission.
The car is not perfect however, and the following items need attention:
-Cracked Moonroof. Does not leak but was damaged by a neighbor kid throwing rocks
-Cruise Control is inoperative
-Needs parking brake shoes
-Passenger side door exterior handle broke in half. The handle will still open the door however
-A/C works fine but last summer it needed a recharge after being charged in 2012
-Needs two rear lateral control rods. Two will come with the car if I don't get around to installing them before the car sells.
-Steering wheel leather is not pretty. It should be recovered as the leather is faded and torn
-Minor dings since being painted
-Tiny rust spot forming above the bumper on the driver's side quarter panel
While the car is not perfect, it is an extremely reliable, fun to drive car. The SE package makes the car Super Rare and it was only produced in 1992 and 1993. Test drives are welcome and if you have any questions or need additional pictures, please feel free to text or call me at 440-371-5332.
