Without an extended warranty you're screwed.

Very affordable extended warranties available through most credit unions.

I just priced one out for my 08 535 with 76k miles. $2300 gets me 3 years and 50k more miles. No brainer.

Also - BMW extended the warranty on the turbos and wastegates on most N54s until 2016 or 86k miles which is one of the more expensive parts of this car that can fail.

Otherwise, these cars are very easy to repair if you can spin a wrench.

BUMP for a nice clean car!!

We owned a 3 series BMW, and if you are as internet savvy as to post on CF, then you can find a multitude of resources and affordable parts on how to fix and repair any BMW. If not for the childish and pushy salesman, we would have bought another one, we ended up with an MB instead (better deal, plus Father-in-Law is an MB mechanic for 20+ years).

These 335i's are great driver's car at a fraction of the M-badge price! GLWS

Im glad to find some BMW lovers out there this car is as fairly priced as i have seen for the luxury and performance it provides. With that said if my Vette sell first i may be keeping this car!

Thanks, guys!

I don't know where all you're advertising, but I'm surprised you haven't had any luck at this price.. Seems like a good deal to me.

What sucks is my (now) wife bought a '11 last year for a little over 30.. It looks like we've got a long way to go with the depreciation when we sell it. I guess that's the price you pay..

It's the potential for big buck repairs that frightens away buyers. One guy, here was trying to sell his 2001 BMW sedan for $6k, recently. It had a new auto tranny (or fresh rebuild) but he still had a hard time selling. This is very common with German vehicles. Many repeat owners expect this. A coworker recently sold her 99 SLK for $2k. A 99 Acura Integra would almost always get more money than that.
