Do what you need to do but really, what is your point of going by the Chevy dealer. You will only earn yourself a label that you probably wouldn't want to have. Let it go - and move on. Like patience, this is a skill that comes with maturity.

It was tough but I actually found a car uglier than Godzilla. But, not by much.

Well I hope you enjoy your GTR. If you are a checksum of the form vendors you probably could've got which one a lot quicker. I will admit that the GTR has great performance off-line with the all-wheel-drive. But I've also heard and read that the vast majority of owners become bored with the cars shortly after purchase. Not the case with Corvette so hope you enjoy your Nissan.

Just bought a GT-R 1 hr. ago from local dealer. Premium package.White with black mirrors and spoiler.Same as the c-7z51 that I never would have got. Picking up Wednsday and stopping by my ex chevy dealer and show it off. Too bad chevy is dissapointing so many. Plus it costs me 30,000 more but it is worth it!

I was a GM of a dealer and every now and then we'd have somebody come back with a purchase from another store and try to get everyone torqued up that he bought something else and we "lost out"...
I never noticed any of us cared at all......if it was our brand, sometimes we'd swap out his plate frame for ours if he was not looking or went inside...LOL

One car has an exterior design problem and the other car has a pricing problem. The C7 doesn't have either.

How many people long for the embrace of a Nissan car? How many cross a parking lot to ask about your Nissan? Same number answers both and the reason you got a great deal. They need to give them away. Anonymous is a lousy way to roll.

The NSX on the other hand, was beautiful! A friend's dad owns a 91 model that he bought brand new. Even to this day it looks modern, it's design was ahead of it's time.

Oh no. That Toyota is gorgeous. The Japanese Jaguar.

I see you joined the Corvette forum sometime in the last 2 weeks so you obviously did your due research on the C7.
BTW, I saw a GTR tonight at the show and shine. They are cute. You'll enjoy it.

WADR, you're a real prince. You started posting on CF on 2/2. You never answered racerdj's questions re your dealer's allocation, etc. Less than two weeks later, you go BYE.
Then, today you post two 7am threads (dupes ) on your checking out/cancelling of your C7 purchase. Now, you come back on with yet another thread saying BYE and that you got your alternate choice car because it's sitting there in the showroom, and ready for you.
Well, since you've got so many sterling threads to your name, I'll just copy/paste my post from earlier:
and while I won't characterize the nissan at all, you did drop the ball by just coming to CF this month, mostly to "inform us" of your decision. thank you.
but what might have been more helpful---to you---is to have known the process, the problems, the dealers, the allocations, etc. had you been on here BEFORE you ordered. all the people complaining about their local dealers not getting any allocation, having allocation and not getting cars----all legit.
but as you said in your second(or first) post, "should" was one of your words. if you wait for "should" in much that you do, it won't happen at all. not that you are wrong, it's just the way many/most things work---not to the "should" of how it should be.
so, move on, enjoy the nisssan, maybe Chevy will see you again, and maybe next time around you will do a slightly more involved type of homework to find how to actually get a hot, first-year product. good luck.
