I couldn't get the full pic of the magazine cover to paste in here that my buddy sent me.

That's actually pretty nice looking. I'm liking it. Never been a Mustang fan either but with those Coyote engines it makes me think long and hard about my next purchase.

Looks too much like a Ford Fusion and a Hyundai Tiburon mated and that is the offspring. Not really liking it. But I'd have to see one in person before making a final judgement.

Saw this as well. I like it. Not nearly as drastic change as I thought it would be. The 2015 model year is rumored to have the 5.0 with 500hp. The new gen is also rumored to have reduced weight (-200 or more lbs), better suspension. with that and the 2015 v8 and improved interior materials, the new stang should do very well. I saw the steering wheel no longer has the horrible aluminum on the 9 and 3 position. God, driving the current gen model with that has got to be one of the worst feeling steering wheels I've ever driven.

Highly doubt it; maybe, and that's a big maybe, for a highly tuned Boss version.
The E60 M5 made 500hp with a 5L V10 that revs **** high, and as a result, turned out to be one of the most stressed and unreliable engines out there. Not to mention 12 mpg in the city.
For a V8 of the same displacement to make that power, while being streetable, pass emissions, and offer decent fuel economy, and longetivity, all for $35k, is just about impossible.

Even assuming a modest 5% increase in power, while running 13-1 compression vs the Boss' 11-1, that goes from 444hp to 466. Ford already has the cobra jet intake that outperforms the Boss intake at higher rpm's(say, another 10 reliable hp?). Redesign the cams a little, and tweak the already amazing heads for another 20 hp. That's a fairly reasonable 496hp. Assume 10% increase from direct injection and you're at 518. A stretch, but not impossible. A 495 for a high output and 470 for a GT isn't impossible..
Of course, a 5.0 gt and 5.5 boss/gt350/mach 1 might be just as likely. Though I do agree, a 500hp GT ain't happening.
The Lancer/Evo and even infinity Q50 do bear a strong resemblence. I for one hate the squinty eye look.

Almost any DOHC motor can run to 7000rpm's, just as the ls7 has some top-shelf goods to enable it to safely turn 7000rpm's.
