For those who can't wait for a 600 plus hp Corvette with round tailights, Ferrari has just announced the 458 Speciale with the 4.5 liter engine spinning to 9,000 RPM and putting out over 600 hp. They claim 0-60 in 3 seconds flat and the car is supposed to weigh just over 2800 pounds, dry, which I assume means no gas.

Best of all, the taillights are round, although there are only two of them.

you could do a c5 with a blower and smoke that thing all for under 25k...

I'm sure there are a lot of cars out there already that can do it, but they aren't new and shiny, and they usually come up short after the straight ends.
