Default For sale or possible partial trade MKII Factory Five Cobra Roadster

Hi guys. I'm new on the thread and hope I'm not too soon to list an item. Selling this will lead to me being on this site a lot more as I intend to pic up a Vette when it's gone. The ad is just too long to type again so here is a link to my original listing (again, I hope that's ok)....

http://www.ffcars.com/forums/18-fact...headstart.html

Being that I intend to buy a Corvette after I sell this car, it wouldn't be a stretch to consider a trade plus cash for one. I'd be looking for something in the neighborhood of car plus $10k or so. Leaning towards a low mile ,C4 6 speed coupe, but the worst I can say is no, so show me what you've got. Thanks for looking.

Thanks. I have. There are so many little things that you would never know about, but are the things that make the difference. Factory Fives tend to bring a little less in the market than say a Superformance, because of the perception of a kit car. But it really all depends on the skill of the builder. Not to brag, but just give a little background, I built, maintained, and crewed the 2009 and 2010 Rolex 24 Hour at Daytona overall winner Daytona Prototypes and the 2011 Rolex GT Champion. I can screw em together pretty good

I'm ready to move on to something else though and would love to go to the Turkey Run with some cash. I might be able to assist with reasonable enclosed delivery depending on the distance if need be.

Just throwing this out there again. I haven't been actively pursuing selling this for a while. I got some encouragement and help from family to allow me to keep and finish the Cobra. I've been steadily chipping away at it and it is nearing completion, but I have basics and tech school coming up soon so it will still be a while. I plan to finish the car and enjoy it a bit before I sell it know and then purchase a Vette and some equipment I need as I would like to have a small fabrication shop as a side business. So that's the plan, but I can't seem to keep my eyes off the classifieds and ebay so if the right deal came along I might just skip a few steps...

I had made up my mind to finish this thing before I sell it to get a better price, but I'm still stuck in tech school and I keep seeing smoking deals on C4 ZR1s that are weakening my resolve. If anyone is interested, hit me up.

If this car was finished and in primer I'd consider trading my 1990 ZR1 #3032 of 3049 Red with Tan interior. all original 57K miles. all service records no issues. near perfect.

Send me some pics guys. I've done a good bit of work since I wrote this ad originally. Guess I should update it. The main shell is in primer. Need to prime the doors, trunk and hood and then level, gap and block everything. The difference at this point though between "finished" in primer and "finished" in paint isn't much. 2 or 3 days labor I'd say. I have been talking to a few guys about the car but if I don't have a solid deal by the time I get back to FL, its going to go to paint and then I'll be asking a tad bit more . Like I said though, send me some pics and we'll talk. Thanks
