F430 or Ford GT?
If you had the cash which car would you buy? F430 or Ford GT? Please restrict your comments to a choice between these 2 cars only.

I would choose the GT as well. No disrespect to the F430, but the GT is something I could drive daily, not feel guilty about, and can do much of the maintenance work myself.

The Ford GT is one of the FIRST three cars I would buy, if and when the lottery numbers finally fall my way (Dodge Viper, and Cadillac CTS-V being the other two). The 430 falls in to about 8th or 9th on my 'favorite Ferrari' list.

Ferrari, what did the new GT win? Ferrari has always been about race cars, Ford about bringing cars to the masses.
I do admit being influenced by Clarkson of Top Gear fame's experience with his GT

The original GT40 beat Ferrari approx. 3 years in a row, in the 60's.
When Henry Ford II gave the order to "Beat Ferrari" , he was asked what the budget for the task was. Henry Ford II (The Duce") reportedly basically replied, Just do it!

The Ford looks better IMO. And V8 Ferraris don't hold their value very well; less exclusivity will do that for you. Wouldn't put too much faith in Clarkson. He does a lot of stuff for entertainment value.

GT without a doubt. Those things are already appreciating in value and will continue to do so. I do love the F430s as well but from the point of ROI, I would say GT all the way.
Originally the GT listed at around $150,000. The cheapest on Ebay right now is right around $170,000. Not bad considering it is only 7 years old.

Maintenance on the Ferrari would make you not want to drive it even if you could afford one, the GT you can drive everyday and as far as repairs (engine) it's a 5.4 with a supercharger, you could probably find a Haynes manual for it.
