personally that difference is wonderful, come 4 or 6 more months of steady increasing fuel prices and your truck will drop a good bit more in value. Same thing happened last time fuel jumped to $4+ a gallon.
Not a truck, but my 06 Gto with 50k on the clock dropped aprox 6k within 9 months. Of course once fuel droped down in price, I pick a few $k's back but no where near what it had been.

And I'm not mad at GM, just needed to vent for a minute. If I were that angry I wouldn't be shopping for my 4th GM product in three years.

It's b/c they have nothing to offer in value compared to the new Fords....but a $3000 hit is a steal for you regardless...

.....for devaluing your product.
I've been trying to trade in my 2011 GMC Sierra Crew Cab SLE 4x4 with only 6,000 miles for an '09 CTSV but due to GM practically giving away their trucks the most I've been offered for it on trade in is $26,000. Mind you the sticker price on the truck was $38,500 and I'm trying to trade for a $48,000 vehicle.
