I did not know that. Thank you for info.

Once again Corvette Forum saves the day.

Not a truck, but my 06 Gto with 50k on the clock dropped aprox 6k within 9 months. Of course once fuel droped down in price, I pick a few $k's back but no where near what it had been.

That statement you quoted may not be true in all states - check your dealership to see if your state does the same.

Thank you, I'll look into it. Haven't decided on exact car yet. I'm willing to drive up to 500 miles so it could be any given state within that distance.

Or possibly less. I've found several for $47k all the way down to $42k.
And I'm not mad at GM, just needed to vent for a minute. If I were that angry I wouldn't be shopping for my 4th GM product in three years.

I'd be searching for a Ford this time if they were the company who made the fastest sedan in the world.

It's b/c they have nothing to offer in value compared to the new Fords....but a $3000 hit is a steal for you regardless...

Yeah, I've came to realize that I'm getting a pretty fair offer at the $26,000. Some dealers offered as low as $24,000 on trade.

Mind you the sticker price on the truck was $38,500 and I'm trying to trade for a $48,000 vehicle.
What does that have to do with anything. It's just a number on paper
