When mods go wrong! UPDATE: I must have been on a different planet. This is the first time I've seen this conversion. At first I thought it was some sort of photo shop. I guess I would like to see it in person before I can really judge.

I'm going to have to disagree on this one. I've always thought that this conversion (called the "789") was one of the best looking C6 conversions.

for all you haters it's a hot rod just like any other custom built car. i think that it's cool but you guys can "hate" all you want.

I like the '62 C1 conversion better. At least it's a Vette and not an old Chevy combo.

looks cool to me. that's a custom car. there are much worse examples on this very board of mods gone wrong where the owners have used stuff from forum vendors.

There may be haters but in general I think its a little strong to label people "haters" when they simply dislike something. Personally, I don't like it but I wouldn't say I "hate" it. I can respect the creator's vision; the quality of workmanship; and, those who like it and still think its dreadful. Life would be pretty boring if we all liked the same things....viva le difference!

I have never been a fan of those conversions. To me the bone stock original C6 looks better than that.

To each their own. I don't care for it. I'm sure it took alot of time & money. A while back a saw a guy had a C5 with the body of a 61'. It was widened and stretched to fit but I thought it was cool looking. That's just me.
