Default Anyone own an Escalade?

I'm seriously considering purchacing a 07 Cadillac Escalde with about 25 thousand miles. It has all the bells and whistles like 22 inch wheels, Nav, captain chairs.... Wondering if any fellow fourm members own and Escalade and can offer any of thier real life expierences with me. Thanks

A close family friend has an 08 ESV, the extended wheelbase version, and it's pretty nice. It also has all the gadgets, the second row of captains chairs are even heated/cooled along with the front chairs. I love it, rides very well, but it seems like pieces seem to fall off of it. It does get beat up rather badly compared to most escalades, 3 children, but it shouldn't be THAT bad. Pieces of interior plastic have fallen off, little things like that.
I love the Escalades myself, if the deal is good, I'd go for it!

I have an 07 ESV purchased new in Dec 06. The vehicle has performed great once we got past a few issues from delivery. Major complaint was wind noise coming from the drivers door. It took the dealer 4 tries to get that corrected. The air condition unit also required atrention - wasn't working at delivery. Once those issues were corrected the vehicle performed without issues until I reached 70k miles. A wheel bearing failed on the pasenger front. The original 22's tires last a long time - I still have the original tires.

In terms off acceleration and torque - I'm very satisfied with performance. For something so large it really moves out. Highway mileage has been great - typical suv mileage in the city using premium. I've had no problems with interior pieces falling off. I do my best to keep the light tan interior clean.

The 09's + offer bluetooth, power tilt & telescope, and magnetic ride. I'm waiting for the updated 2012's.

Thanks for your input. I'm still trying to decide. For a truck with 70k on its clock, sounds like it held up nice. Good luck on the 2012 modle.

I have a 2008 Escalade EXT. It has 36K miles on it now and has been a perfect vehicle. The first week I bought it I put a Magnacharger supercharger on it. It really woke that thing up. Up from the factory 404hp to 650hp, and all wheel drive too!

We have one we bought used, and it's been great. I like it much better than I thought I would. It's been perfectly reliable, and it drives much smaller than it is. It's really a nice truck.
