wow... was reading motor trend today and read about the Chevy introducing the Z-28 with a 6.2l supercharged v8 making around 550hp and the hennessey camaro dynoed at 615rwhp. Look out for these new camaro's.. There's no way chevy will let the camaro have better performance numbers than the corvette so I am very anxious to see what plans chevy has for the C7 besides the split rear window.

I am not saying it not true but MT has been wrong a number of times in the past.

Apples and oranges. The Vette is a sports car and the Camaro is a muscle car.
The Z06 with 505 HP and much lighter than the Camaro should still outperform the Z28, just like the base Vette will tune up the 400+ HP V8 Camaro.
Same thing happened in the 60's. There was always an outrageous engine/ponycar combo out there that could whup Vettes in the 1/4 mile but they could not come close if you had to turn left or right
I am not saying what Motor Trend is not true but they also claimed a number of times in 2006 there was going to be a Boss Mustang 6.2. Liter with the Hurrcaine motor coming out in 2007 or 2008. It never happened so when I see it I believe it.
Totally agree, I remember reading that. The article did say that final design was signed off on at GM and production is slated to begin so we will see...
