Just saw my first GTR this past weekend. I must admit I did not get all hot and sweaty over what looked like to me a Z car with a wing and some extra exhausts. I hear its a 12 second car but has a $70,000 price tag to go along with it. 70K for a Z. Anyone know if the auto press is droolling over it? Anyone know how it stacks against a base C6?

They are nice and loaded with goodies, but expensive to buy and drive. Service is a ball buster and if not done you lose the warrantee they can also tell if you are using the launch control beyond it's limits.

I really like how the GPS knows when you are on the track and it removes the top speed limiter. I am not sure if this is just the Japan version but that is pretty cool. This also probably tells Nissan that you are racing it and all the warranties are out the window. That thing does 0-60 in 3.2 seconds and handles like a beast. It outperforms a lot of cars that cost a lot more. Very even to the new ZR1 in most performance categories.

I don't care how fast the GTR can go....its just plain BUTT UGLY especially with that gapping barn door opening in the front end.... I'm sure it will be every "Ricer's" dream car from now on.
