Up for sale is my beautiful 1980 Leather Sport. this car is located in Vermilion, OH and the price is $4500/obo. i will not be lowballed so please be respectful if making an offer. may possible trade for early C4 with a 4+3. i can work on the price a little but again, i know what this car is worth and won't accept a lowball offer. this car is one of 500 Solar Gold LS's manufactured in 1980. this amazing car just turned 61,000 miles and i am the second owner. this car is truely unique and is in very nice shape.
the interior of this RX-7 is in beautiful condition. the leather seats are beautiful and the dash is outstanding. the 12A starts and runs like new and the 5 speed transmission shifts perfectly with no grinding. the muffler has seen better days but the car is not loud. everything works on this car! the tires are in great shape and have only 4000 miles on them!
the clutch was replaced prior to me taking posession of the car in 2003 along with the tires. since then, i have replaced the pinion bearings, carrier bearings, rear wheel bearings, front brake pads, rear shoes, rear wheel cylinders, plugs (NGK) wires (NGK), and the air filter. the a/c is fully functioning and everything works on the car! i have meticulously maintained the car as it is the jewl in my collection. there is no underbody or wheel well rust. the car has some deep scratches on the hood and driver's headlight from the previous owner as well as one deep scratch behind the driver's door. there are two small rust spots by the passenger side tail light (shown in the pictures) and one small rust spot in the hatch channel. the sunroof wind deflector has a large burn mark in it from the previous owner. there is a small rust bubble on the right rear panel behind the tire. the paint is original and shines brightly but does show some very minor dings and scratches. i really don't want to sell the car but i can't keep them all. i am an avid RX-7 collector and am in the hobby of restoring one RX-7 per year. don't miss out on this rare opportunity to own this extremely collectable RX-7. if you have any questions please feel free to call me on my cell at 440-371-5332, my name is Dave. please feel to ask any questions or request additional pictures.

the patrol car is my take home car. its nice to have out front because it does deter crime signifigantly. its funny to see the kids speeding down the road and when they see the car, they hammer on the brakes, lol
Very nice. THe gen 1 rx7 was my first car as a teenager and is still one of my favorites. Ive actually been looking for an rx7 to daily drive but to be honest, yours is way too nice to do that to. Good luck with sale on awesome car!!!
