Default Car Dies After 5-10min

What do you think the problem could be if a fuel injected car dies after driving around 5-10min.

Could it be fuel related, or faulty crank/cam sensor etc.
Melted fuses?

Anyone with ideas?

What does it idle at before it dies? Most(if not all) FI cars will idle high when cold and idle down when the temp comes up to operating temp. If the bypass channels in the throttle body are clogged with gunk, It's very likely that the motor will choke itself out when the engine drops the RPM's.

The first step I would take is to take the throttle body off and give it a good hose down with carb cleaner.

Definitely need to know more details.

Some cars have had problems with their Idle Air Control Valves. They use a stepper motor to open a valve to let more air in when the car's idling. But Subarus, and some VW's and Hondas I think, have had problems where the IACV get's gunked up, and needs to be cleaned (by spraying a cleaner, or cleaning the IACV itself), or if it's been gunked up for long, the motor's coils burn out, and the whole unit needs to be replaced.

Or it could be something completely different... knowing which car will definitely help identify any common issues.

(BTW- I think I may just be repeating Orphan's comment above... )

Hey guys its a 1996 Eagle Talon turbo.

Heres the scoop, after the car warms up, the electronics start to lose power..ie

The power windows and wipers move slower and eventually all electronics lose power and the lights completely go out.
The motor will run and eventually go out itself.

**Edit: Forgot the battery, alternator and IAC have all been replaced

It has to be in electrical related, like a fuse that is heating up or something.
Something electrical has to be going out due to heat.

Thanks for the continued help fellas

But the car can start right up normally but eventually after the process the battery dies.

It has to be in the charging system from the alternator to the battery or in the pigtails going to the voltage regulator or something.

Someone help me lol

If the battery and the alt are new, I would check the alt fuse going to the battery. The circuit going from the alt to the battery is fused (so it doesn't blow the battery) so it may be corroded terminals to the fuse or the fuse itself.
